In 1995, OTOS Co., Ltd. (under its former entity, OGK Optical Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of KOREA OGK) developed an automatically darkening welding helmet as well as other safety products.

In 1996, OTOS Co., Ltd. received ISO 9002 certification and was also awarded a Good Design Mark from the Korean Government. Moreover we have been certified ISO 9001, ISO 12001 Achieving ANSI, CE, and CSA for many of its products since 1997, OTOS has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of automatically darkening welding helmets.

New methods of improving quality of OTOS's products are being continually developed and designed for the customer's satisfaction.
